10 Things I Use Nearly Every Day
Creating a peaceful space was my number one priority when I moved.
You may have caught on to this in my last post, but I am ALL about creating a space and life that I love. This includes introducing items into my daily life that make it easier to function and live my overall best!!
On top of that, I tend to be a somewhat particular human. I like to have certain things a certain way… and you know what, that’s A-OK!! Truly, it is 100% ok to be particular about he items you use in your daily life and to just have preferred things you return to again and again. If it works for you and you love it, why change it!!
Here are 10 of my favorite items I use nearly every day!
Half Gallon Water Bottle - My half gallon jug goes with me nearly everywhere I go. It’s a truly rare occasion that you won’t see it with me. I always go with a version like this because I LOVE all of the features it has. First, I can carry it over my should like a purse. Second, did you see all that storage?? A water bottle that could also hold my phone, my keys, AND a small wallet. This thing not only encourages me to get in all of my water for the day, but helps me carry all of my belongings. I especially love this when I’m going on a walk or short hike AND definitely when I’m at the airport.
Lacrosse Balls - No, I don’t play the sport. But I do deal with chronic pain. I keep these lacrosse balls with me, in my backpack, at all times. There is nothing better for rolling out a painful spot in my shoulder!! Today, I put one behind my back and used it for my entire 3 hours drive to help break up tension and ward off other pain.
17” Backpack - I can’t count the number of these backpacks I’ve purchased and recommended over the last ten years. I put these things through absolute hell, loading them to their full capacity day after day. They are perfect for work, for travel, for school, for everything. I love everything about this backpack. So much so that I have 2 of them currently in use. One I use every day and one I use just for gigs. They each last me roughly 3 years of full on daily use and abuse.
Weekly Pill Organizer - I take multiple medications every day, along with a variety of supplements. This little guys saves me the headache of getting out all of my individual pill containers every single night. Once a week, I fill my pill organizer. During that weekly adventure, I also take stock of what I need to order, refill, or talk to my doctor about. Not only does it save me time, it also helps me stay on track and never miss a dose.
My FAVORITE Sharpie Pens - I’m a lefty. I’ve said enough.
But for those of you who might be lost, these pens are magical. Lefties have always had to deal with the smudge down the side of their hand every time they write. I’ve been testing pens over the years and these happen to be my all-around favorite so far!Sink Shroom - This girl has a lot of hair and moved into a condo that didn’t have a stopper in the very vintage sink. I KNEW that would be an issue so I immediately ordered the sink shroom. I LOVE IT. Since ordering the one for my bathroom sink, I’ve also ordered similar things for my kitchen sink and for over my bathroom drain.
Dimmable Nightlights - When I have to get up in the middle of the night for any reason, I have no desire to turn on my standard lights. These dimable nightlights are in every room of my house and are the most perfect. I have them set at about 75% and love their low profile.
Additional Car Cupholders - I am a true beverage goblin. I have at least 3 drinks with me almost all of the time. If you only see me with one or two, it’s probably a good idea to check in to see if I’m alright. The big problem with being multi-beverage person is that my car only has two cup holders up front. Two cupholders simply will not cut it. These little insert for my car is one of my favorite gifts to date. I love that I can carry all 3 of my beverages and still have a space available for a friend.
Tile Bluetooth Tracker - As a person with ADHD, I misplace things ALL OF THE TIME. I have a Tile Bluetooth Tracker on my car keys, my work keys, in my backpack, in my second backpack and on for my wallet. The other morning I was running late and frantically searching for my work keys. With the help of my tracker, I them under the cushion on a chair on my patio. WHY were they there and not on the key holder… great question. If you figure that out, let me know!!
Simple Coffee Maker - Last but not least on this list is my coffee maker. I have a simple coffee make with just an on/off switch. That’s it. No extra buttons. Just on/off. My schedule (and pain/health issues) can be very inconsistent, so instead of setting schedule for my coffee maker, if I want to prep it ahead of time, I put the coffee maker on a wifi outlet. That way, from bed, I can say “Alexa, turn on the coffee maker” during one of my inevitable snooze cycles and still wake up to piping hot and fresh coffee.
This beverage goblin needs ALL of the cup holders and coasters
I love finding things I love that make my life a little better and easier every day! Drop me a message with some of your favorites!
